Connection Groups at First Baptist help us grow in friendship with Jesus, with one another, and with the city. They extend our faith and fellowship beyond the Sunday service into the rest of the week. Connection Groups are:
communities that worship the Triune God through word and deed
relational spaces of support in our common journey of the Christian faith
places where we can be equipped to go out and join in the ministry of God
Groups meet at the church, in homes, and in various settings around the city during the week. The fellowship usually includes Scripture study, prayer, sharing, meals, and neighborhood life. The emphasis is on shared learning, praying, caring, and serving.
Many of our groups are currently utilizing our Colossians Series Study Guide, "Maturing in Christ," which you can access here at our Sermon Resources Page:
If you are seeking to grow in genuine Christian friendship in these ways, we invite you to join a Connection Group! For more information please contact our Connection Group Coordinator, Stuart Campbell.
