Incarnational Spirituality: Meeting God in Daily Life
(Part 1 at First Baptist Church, 7:00pm Sunday, March 9)
Too often we think of our spiritual life as our personal spiritual practices, experiences and beliefs. In contrast, authentic Christian spirituality must be enfleshed and lived – grounding our life in God in our life in the external world. This lecture describes such an incarnational spirituality, focusing particularly on the way in which it involves a radical commitment to the embrace of reality and the development of discernment of God in the midst of daily life. Dr. Keith Krull will respond to this lecture.

Incarnational Spirituality: Grounding the Spiritual Journey in the Human Journey
(Part 2 at The Carey Centre, 12:00pm Monday, March 10)
This lecture explores the relationship between spirituality and religion, and between religious and non-religious spiritualities. Arguing that the non (or pre) religious foundations are important for both the development of full personhood and any authentic religious spirituality, it then focuses on several of these non-religious spiritual dynamics and the role they play in psychospiritual formation.
