The Summer Schedule of First Baptist Vancouver: ONE Sunday Service at 10:00am. All are welcome. If you are vacationing in Vancouver, we'd love to have you worship with us during your stay here!CONNECT with the First FAMILY
Children and Families at First Baptist run fun, wholesome programs on Sundays and weekdays. For children up to Grade 7, there are a number of activities promoting healthy life skills & perspectives in a loving, nurturing environment. And opportunities for parents to connect and grow too! Coming soon with our community:
- FBC Family Camp 2008, Labour Day weekend. Our annual get-away to Keats Camp! It's a chance for children and parents to play, relax and learn with each other. This year, the ever-optimistic Almira Chow will encourage us to seek God in every circumstance. For more information, please CLICK to download the Registration Form!
- Whether your children are Pre-Schoolers or entering Grade 7, FBC Children & Families has programs for them to connect with each other, and with responsible adults who may end up teaching them a useful thing or two! See www.FirstBC.org/ChildrenAndFamilies or click through to our newly updated brochures for Pre-School, School Age and Route 567 (Grades 5-7).
- HELP! For our Vacation Bible School to run successfully, we need 4-5 more volunteers! If you are available in the mornings/early afternoons the week of Aug 18-22, and would like to help supervise activity stations for children (age 4-12), please email us!
Deal with THE END of TIME all August long
Our sermon series for August is Living At The End Of Time. FBC Senior Minister Dr. Tom Cowan gleans Biblical truths concerning the last days from I Thessalonians, and how our lives should be impacted. In contrast to the common, dark Hollywood images on the topic, we will learn together that there is much to hope for!
The Greatest Promise in the Bible
On Sunday, July 20, Dr. Bruce Milne returned with encouraging words on The Greatest Promise in the Bible. Bruce and Valerie have touched the lives of many FBC people with their friendship and faithful care. Our well-loved former Senior Minister from 1983 - early 2001, Dr. Bruce Milne continues to author books (his Know The Truth is a classic handbook of Christianity) and speak at conferences worldwide.
