Children & Families Volunteer Opportunities
Small Group Leaders and Teachers:
These folks take a group of 6 - 8 children and follow up the teaching time
with discussion and personal application so the children think about and
process the teaching. Small Group Leaders get to know the kids in their own
group and keep in touch with them, nurturing them as a friend and mentor.
Small Group Leaders and Teachers serve as consistently as possible in one
service time.
Caregivers:
Our small ones need people with gifts of hospitality, mercy, shepherding and
encouragement to care for them. Caregivers serve as consistently as
possible during one service.
Music & Worship Teams:
Both our Early Childhood department and our School Age department have Music
and Worship teams. Guitar, keyboard, bass, vocalists are always
needed. Team members serve on a rotation schedule.
Story Tellers and Creative Communicators:
Our large group teaching time in both departments features creative Bible
Teaching to communicate issues of faith and life to the children in age-appropriate,
powerful ways. These people also serve on a rotation basis.
Administrators and Organizers:
Each department depends on these people to do the detail
work of registration, data collection, scheduling, ordering supplies, and
keeping resource rooms tidy. If you have gifts of administration,
organization, discernment, hospitality then we have a place for you to
serve! You are part of a team and serve as much as you are available.
Greeting and Hospitality:
Our children and families need a steady supply of smiles,
special touches, and refreshments. Join our team and help make this
vision a reality!
Arrival Activities:
Volunteer to plan, set up and implement fun games,
interesting crafts, or quieter activities. The time commitment is 45
minutes total on a Sunday Morning (8:30 to 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 to 11:15
a.m.). You can have lots of fun as well as make a valuable contribution
to our Sunday Morning sessions.
Artists:
We welcome people to help bring our environments to life
with murals, banners, and creative touches. Sound interesting? Help
us dream up great spaces for our kids!
